World Impact Development Foundation (WIDEF) was honored to participate in the High-Level Stakeholders’ Engagement on the Regional Partnership for Democracy (RPD), hosted by UNDP Nigeria and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 20, 2025, in Abuja.
As one our core thematic areas is to for promote civic participation, and effective governance, WIDEF brought to the table strategic insights grounded in years of grassroots mobilization and policy advocacy across Nigeria.
Our contributions to the dialogue emphasized the need for inclusive, accountable, and sustainable democratic systems—principles deeply embedded in our mission and work.
The RPD represents a bold, African-led commitment to democratic renewal, and WIDEF is proud to be recognized as a valuable partner in this effort.
Our experience working with underserved communities and equipping citizens—especially youth and women—with the tools to engage meaningfully in governance uniquely positions us to support the initiative’s goals.
We are excited to strengthen partnerships and play an active role in shaping a resilient, people-centered democratic future for West Africa.
